The Nordic Folkboat is a small, simple but seaworthy sailboat, specially designed for the Baltic Sea. It can accommodate a crew of two to four people and is suitable for cruising sailing as well as for sporting regattas.
The Folkeboot is a long keel with Bermuda rigging. It has the S-frame shape typical of wooden yachts and a flat-frame stern with attached rudder.
The classic folkboat hull is made of wood and clinkered and is sailed with a glued wooden mast.
The frames have been partially renewed, the folkboat has a higher cabin structure and the shrouds have been reinforced.
