The yacht was built in 2003 to participate in the Daimler-Chrysler Atlantic Challenge, in which she participated as the fastest yacht. For the 2005 season in the Mediterranean, the ship was overhauled and equipped with a new high-speed carbon fiber rig and new sails as well as new navigation equipment.
Now the yacht has been completely prepared for the 2023 shipping regatta. The UCA is operational and ready to sail!
